Documents tabled in Parliament by Prime Minister Andrew Holness on Tuesday show that the former Human Resource Manager, Yolande Ramharrack, received a gross payment of $13.3 million as severance pay, and not the $9.2 million disclosed by Prime Minister Andrew Holness last week. Petrojam General Manager Winston Watson had also said the figure was $9.2 million. The newly tabled documents show however that the $9.2 million was the payment after taxes and other statutory deductions were made. Ms Ramharrack ultimately took home only $4.1 million out of that figure as she owed millions to Petrojam, including $5.3 million for a car loan, plus sums for car rental, vacation advance and petrol. A deduction of $406,000 was also made for excess phone calls.
